About Tiki Dave
To put it simply, Tiki Dave was born to be on stage. The son of one of Boston’s premier jazz pianists, Dave was performing professionally before the age of 13, and has not been off the stage since.
After a successful run as an entertainer and cruise director on several luxury cruise lines, Tiki Dave relocated to South Florida, quickly becoming one of the busiest and most popular performers in the area. Fronting his own band, The Coral Reef Revue, Tiki Dave appeared at countless fairs, festivals, casinos, corporate events, NASCAR races and was even part of the featured entertainment at two Super Bowls.
While headlining shows in his own right, he has also shared the stage and opened for acts such as Grand Funk Railroad, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Beach Boys, and even Mr. Margaritaville himself, Jimmy Buffett.
Tiki Dave is also a highly regarded ukulele performer and instructor. He has grown his ukulele online community, Ukuleleville, into one of the most popular and entertaining groups of ukulele enthusiasts and performers around. Based out of his Facebook Page, (with more then 3.5k followers and fans), his twice weekly Ukuleleville Play-Along Party brings together ukulele players from around the world in a relaxed, fun and informative atmosphere.
In these pandemic times, Tiki Dave can be found online, teaching, leading sessions and of course, performing. His twice weekly show, The Shaka Shack mixes in trop rock, reggae, Hawaiian and classic rock, all served up on vocals, guitar and ukulele.
